Accessibility Information

Accessibility

We continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our e-commerce service and to provide you with accessible support when purchasing or obtaining information about our services. If you believe that your experience using our service does not meet your accessibility needs, please contact us! For accessibility needs, please e-mail info@tsc.lv or call +371 67808808.

1. Accessibility status

To assess the accessibility of a website service, our team has carried out a self-assessment of the user experience by checking the performance of services against statutory accessibility requirements. We have carried out our self-assessment on the basis of Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council (European Accessibility Act), the Product and Service Accessibility Law and Cabinet Regulation No 128.

The standard requirements for websites are aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG v2.1) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), so we use WCAG numbering in our self-assessment and when communicating accessibility to the users of our service.

This website partially complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Levels A and AA, as a result of which you are able to:

  • Change colours, contrast level and font using browser plug-ins or device settings.
  • Zoom in up to 400% without text going beyond the edges of the screen.
  • Navigate through most of the site using the keyboard.
  • Listen to most of the content on the website using a screen reader.

2. Partially accessible content

Some parts of the website are currently only partially compliant with accessibility requirements. We are actively working to address these shortcomings. Below is a list of the website features we are currently working on.

  • The website contains visual elements that lack a descriptive “alt” alternative (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • There are fields where the autocomplete option is not available (WCAG 1.3.5).
  • The contrast between individual elements of the website is too low (WCAG 1.4.11 and 1.4.3).
  • The website contains textual elements such as images that are not readable by assistive technologies (WCAG 1.4.5).
  • There are some elements of the website that cannot be accessed using the “Tab” key (WCAG 2.1.1).
  • The same link text is used for different purposes (the purpose of the link is specified in the context, WCAG 2.4.4).
  • The website contains elements that do not contain the correct label to be readable using assistive technologies (WCAG 2.5.3).
  • Error messages differ in some places from the installed language (WCAG 3.1.2).
  • The form contains error messages that are not sufficiently clear to identify the error to the user in order to correct it (WCAG 3.3.1).
  • Erroneous completion of forms may result in an insufficiently clear explanation of the recommendations for error correction (WCAG 3.3.3).
  • Status messages on the website are not programmatically readable so that users of assistive technologies are alerted automatically (WCAG 4.1.3).

We are actively working to close these gaps by 27 June 2030.
